  1. Hi all, I rebuilt my pc a couple of years ago based on an asus z170a, intel 6600k with 16gb ram with both ssd and hdd storage but never got round to upgrading the gpu due to running out of funds. I'm only interested in playing DCS at near to max settings on 1080p (maybe higher in the future with a new monitor) so which nvidia gpu should I buy for DCS (suggestions for a specific brand/make and model) with say a budget of £500. Cheers Bullitt
  2. Polecat, I am hearing reports that logitech gaming software/setpoint is causing BSODS on z170 chipset...I know you like Logitech and was interested to know if you have had any issues or how you overcame such problems Bullitt
  3. Hi all, Just starting to research (and save for) a new rig due to a suspected blown motherboard!!! Thinking of following in Polecat's footsteps with this as a starting point...all comments/suggestions much appreciated. ASUS Z170-A (slight concern about reviews regarding heat sinks not using screws and that the board is wafer thin)INTEL i7 6700K or i5 6600K (just spoken to my system builder - he has suggested the i5 6600K)CPU COOLER - TBC (any help on this would be welcome - it needs to have a low profile as space is required for the side fan assembly) (again advised by system builder to go for the CORSAIR H50 but also considering COOLER MASTER Sedion 120V)G SKILL "Ripjaws 4" DDR4-3000 (PC4-24000) 16GB (dual channel kit 8GB x 2) QVL approved ref. no.
