Red Force have invaded Georgia and seized the capital of Tbilisi and its surrounding areas. After putting up some resistance the Georgian Government called for Blue Force to assist in the region resulting in an escalation of the conflict. This has led to Blue Force landing on the Eastern shores of the Black Sea while Red Force tries to strengthen its position in Tbilisi by sending reinforcements through the Transkam Road and the Darial Gorge. Blue Force is tasked with capturing Tbilisi and Vaziani from the Red coalition as their primary objective. Once complete, to win the battle Blue Force will also have to capture Beslan and Nalchik on the Russian border from Red Force. Red coalition can win the battle if they successfully stop Blue Force from capturing all 4 target airbases, Tbilisi, Vaziani, Beslan and Nalchik within the 12 hour mission time limit. BLUE This is an airbase capture mission! We have 4 airbases to capture from the enemy, Tbilisi, Vaziani, Beslan and Nalchik. If we capture all 4 bases before the 12 hour mission time limit runs out we win the battle. If the enemy stops us from capturing all 4 airbases by the time the 12 hour limit runs out we lose the fight for today. CAP ----- Provide Fighter Cover for our ground attack aircraft who are attacking enemy ground units located at Tbilisi, Vaziani, Beslan and Nalchik. Our strikers are also attacking enemy positions on the Transkam Road North of Bullseye and the Darial Gorge North East of Bullseye. Our priority objective is to capture VAZIANI and TBILISI airfields to the East of bullseye so prioritise Escort flights for any friendly traffic heading east. Once Tbilisi and Vaziani are secure our ground troops will move in to secure the area and set up a SAM defence network with the Hawk system. Our objective then moves North into Russia targeting Beslan and Nalchik airbases. These positions will be heavily defended and friendly aircraft will require close escort to deal with the enemy fighters launching from Mozdok and Min Vody. *FRIENDLY GROUND TROOPS ARE LOCATED SOUTH OF BULLSEYE!* Ground Attack -------------------- Our priority goal is to destroy the enemy units currently holding the city of Tbilisi and its airbases, then head north to capture two airbases on the Russian border, Beslan and Nalchik. Our secondary objective is to eliminate the enemy ground units securing the Transkam Road North of Bullseye and the Darial Gorge East of Bullseye. The enemy is using these strategic transport routes to reinforce its position in Georgia and it is crucial that we deny him that luxury and take control of the routes for our coalition to stop the flow of enemy ground troops. To win the mission we must control all 4, Tbilisi, Vaziani, Beslan and Nalchik. Our ground forces are standing by ready to move in once all enemy troops have been eliminated from the target airbases. Work together and co-ordinate strikes on the enemy ground forces at Tbilisi and Vaziani. Once we secure these positions friendly ground troops will move in and secure the area with a Hawk SAM system, you will be able to rearm and refuel at both airbases once captured. When heading North into Russia make sure you coordinate with friendly CAP flights for escort as enemy fighters are located close to the border and the airspace is well monitored. There are 3 enemy FARPs that we have designated to capture for our forces. FARP Kaspi, FARP Star and FARP Tsar. The locations of each FARP are given below in the Known Targets section, coordinate with friendly helicopter pilots to capture these FARPs for our coalition and unlock spawn points for forward deployed helicopters. Known Enemy Positions -------------------------- Press F10 and use the ruler tool to draw a line from bullseye to the coordinates listed below for your intended target. We have the ability to shut down enemy airbases if we eliminate all the units defending the airfield. *** WARNING FRIENDLY UNITS POSITIONED *** --> 194 - 38nm to 157 - 38nm <-- DO NOT ATTACK ANY UNITS SOUTH OF BULLSEYE Target Airbases Tbilisi & Vaziani - N41-39-17 - E44-59-21 - 130 for 74nm Beslan - N43-12-16 - E44-36-25 - 032 for - 50nm Nalchik - 43-30-46 - E43-38-16 - 341 for 59nm Target FARPs FARP Kaspi - N41-55-41 - E44-24-54 - 142 for 45nm FARP Star - N42-37-45 - E44-36-33 - 076 for 32nm FARP Tsar - N43-02-14 - E44-13-18 - 019 for 32nm Transkam Road 070 - 13nm 012 - 15nm 015 - 19nm 020 - 31nm Darial Gorge 075 - 33nm 056 - 37nm 047 - 43nm SA-6 Sites North 021 - 35nm 008 - 48nm 356 - 62nm 040 - 46nm 331 - 96nm SA-6 Sites East 130 - 55nm 075 - 33nm 135 - 68nm 131 - 76nm EWR Sites 331 - 96nm 130 - 55nm 025 - 61nm Comms AWACS- E3 - 257.8AM ARCO 11 - KC135MPRS - 261AM - 61X ARCO 21 - KC135MPRS - 262AM - 62X SHELL 11 - S-3B - 263AM - 63X SHELL 21 - S-3B - 264AM - 64X TEXACO 11 - KC135 - 255AM - 55X USS STENNIS - 140.0AM - 74X - ICLS 1 USS TARAWA - 129.5AM - 1X Red This is an airbase defence mission! This is an airbase defence mission, you are tasked with defending 4 airbases, Tbilisi, Vaziani, Beslan and Nalchik. The enemy are trying to capture all 4 and if they do so in the 12 hour time limit they will win the battle for today. We can win for our coalition by stopping the enemy from capturing all 4 airbases within the 12 hour limit. Friendly aircraft are also required to attack the enemy airbases at Kutaisi, Senaki, Kobuleti and Batumi, these aircraft will require an escort to keep enemy fighters at bay. The enemy is coming for Tbilisi and Vaziani first so our initial focus is defending our newly captured airbases in Georgia, Red aircraft are available to spawn in Tbilisi until the enemy capture the airbases. *WARNING* FRIENDLY GROUND TROOPS ARE LOCATED NORTH OF BULLSEYE! Ground Attack -------------------- Our priority goal is to destroy the enemy units currently massing South of Bullseye, our secondary objective is to attack any enemy ground units that reinforce newly captured airbases.
