Archimedes Posted October 12, 2016 Report Share Posted October 12, 2016 (A-10C) At 5:00pm on Wednesday, October 12, I was in route to TA Bravo from Senaki, after about 10 miles from Senaki, im starting to fence in, all of a sudden I get hard spiked I see a Mirage on my RWR, I dive for the weeds, and do what any hog pilot, with no radar nor IFF, would so I look over and select my AIM9, ready to nail a mirage that was waiting near TA to kill me. So after 10 more miles I pop up and I see his burner 5 miles ahead of me, I lock him up and fire. Now at this point I open up chat to see if it was gonna hit...... it misses. so I line up another shot but the mirage loops over and fly straight toward me and I shoot. misses... then start a 5 min dogfight with a HOG and Mirage. get a couple hits on him then me start flying away so I break off. Then I open up chat and see the dreaded message from "Crow" "what are you doing". my heart sank, as I realized I had been chasing a friendly mirage shooting 30mm all over his plane. Then I ask him why out of all the area in the great nation of georgia, he is flying right next to the Active TA, and spiking attack aircraft who are very vunerable to baby seal clubbing by enemy fighters. thennnnn I was banned and now im here. After going on TS, I was told by CROW that Presing banned me. And 104th is the only server I ever get on ive been a active user since 2014. As a A10C with no radar and no way to IFF fighters, my first instinct after being hardspiked to fight for my life and thats what I did, so I just dont want to be banned over a little mistake on my part. You shot canon on the friendly and after Crow ask you what you are doing you said to him to bugger off. Pressing and I were no where near where you were we were doing CAP I was in an F-15, He was in a Mig-29. I asked what you were doing when I saw the message in the Chat box that you had fired on a friendly aircraft ( I monitor the chat logs). you then proceeded to tell me to "Bugger off" at which point, as we do not brook abuse in chat, Pressing banned you, I was ready just to kick you from the server. Archimedes Posted October 15, 2016 Author Report Share Posted October 15, 2016 (edited) I understand that, I admitted I said I made a honest mistake and its totally my fault, Im not "Hiding the Truth", Im just stating what I thought happened and I was wrong. Mistakes happen, and when it comes to "Admin Abuse" not to be demeaning in any way but if you take someone say bugger off to you as abuse then thats sorta sad. But in the end Ive realized what I did was wrong, and I just dont go on the 104th to chase around fighters in the A10, right before this situtation I has spent over 4 hours running ground pounding sorties with guys on the 104th teamspeak. I hope that this can be forgiven and I can go back to flying on my favorite server. Let me be polite with this. Your not telling the whole story, Ive said sorry multiple times now, and admitted to doing wrong. But I said to the Mirage whoever that was, " Why out of all the area in the great country of Georgia are you sitting right near TA, then locking me up." then whoever that was I told them to bugger off. Im a very serious player, and I just dont launch aim 9s and chase mirages around shooting at them for fun. I was on my way to TA and I got locked up by a unknown fighter near the Active TA, Another mistake I made was not having the chat open, had It been open I would have seen the message. but I didnt open chat until after the fact. Ive admitted to my mistakes, I dont know what more you want. I just want to back to fly the hog on the 104th. Crowsfoot Posted October 16, 2016 Report Share Posted October 16, 2016 (edited) Archimedes, in future, be respectful in chat, I know myself when I am getting spiked by a friendly, or even TK'd whether accidental or purposefully, it gets my ire up. However, abusive language in chat, is not tolerated. While in most parts of North America "Bugger off" is considered not to be offensive, in other parts of the world it is extremely rude. Please be aware of this, as some may take exception to your use of it. I am lifting your ban. Hope to see you in the skies soon.
